Stronghold Crusader is an original game that is halfway between two totally different game styles. On the one hand it has real-time strategy game components, but on the other hand it adds the features of a city or empire building simulator.
The game takes you back to the time of the Crusades and you'll be able to choose which of the two camps you lead. On the one hand, you can be Richard the Lionheart, in command of the European armies, or you can play Saladin, who is in charge of the Arab forces.
As a construction simulator, the game requires you to supply your cities with everything they need to survive and build the infrastructure or essential elements, but as a real-time strategy game you must always keep an eye on your defences to avoid enemy attacks, and prepare ambushes to gain ground on your opponent. Once the battle is fought it's up to you to rebuild, you know how this game works.
It's a trial version with which you can play the first three levels. We warned you... it's very hooking.
